Sol Lux Alpha and Off The Grid Design have partnered with Ossiaco, to bring V2X capability to the residential marketplace. “V2X” stands for "Vehicle to Home, to building, and to grid energy transfer. This will allow your EV to power your home with stored solar or grid energy, to share your power within your community, and even to be monetized by aggregating your vehicle battery with other EV’s and used as an ancillary asset to the grid or a community microgrid.

The value this provides for resilience in energy is immense, as is the value it represents for the grid, as this Utility Dive article highlights. This technology will begin production in January of 2020 and be available for deliveries in March 2020.
